Rob Lisle is an award nominated creative celebrated for his quirky and off-beat storytelling and drawing style.

ABOUT

A lifelong creative who bounced between writing, drawing, music and screenplays before returning to comics and illustrating, Spedsy built his own interconnected “Spedsyverse,” with titles such as The Devil’s Toilet, Vamoose, and Badly Beaten Boy before releasing the award nominated Sluggish and the graphic novel Free Monkeys, and the dark and brooding Ring Around the Rosie. Spedsy’s work blends humour, absurdity, and heartfelt themes, and will see him collaborating with some of Australia’s greatest creators.

Rob’s comic book work has seen him work with publishers such as Reverie Publications, Scout Comics, Antarctic Press, Redback Publishing, ComicOz, Halftone Productions & Perentie Press.

As part of Sketch Group, Rob has worked on corporate illustrations, sketch videos, and large scale posters and murals for companies such as Toyota, Target, American Express, and many more.

With Comx Studio, Rob has hosted more than one hundred episodes of Friday Night's Drink and Draw, showcasing some of Australia's greatest creators and illustrators.
